I grew up in Barrie. Milligans pond used to be part of the Milligan family property. Was LEFT to the city. A little oasis in the middle of what has become a city. Unfortunately it's not that anymore, by the sounds of it. I
moved away 20 years ago. People are afraid to take their kids there for a small piece of nature. The city should sell it? I don't think it's even possible. I wish some how, some way, they could make it a family environment again

The city seems content to just let the drug heads take over. I’ve lived in the city for 30 years , love to take walks but never have visited this pond because I’ve always heard that it’s unsafe........ the city should sell it off to the highest bidder for development, they’ll clean it up cause the city doesn’t seem to want to.
